The ceramic dome is a key part of filtration for your Alps Water Filter. It completes the first stage of the filtration process.

Dome Ceramic Filter (0.2 micron): purifies water from rust, dust, sand, silt, and bacteria such as cholera, typhoid, and coliforms.

Requires replacement every 6 months, with proper care and maintenance.
