Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or returns for change-of-mind purchases, including where a product was ordered incorrectly, no longer wanted, or where the customer decides not to proceed after purchase.

Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where products are faulty, significantly different from their description, unfit for purpose, or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 2 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number;
  • A description of the issue; and
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging where applicable.

We will assess the issue and work with you to provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery & Transit

All reasonable care is taken to ensure orders are securely packed and dispatched in good condition.

If your parcel is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist in investigating the matter with the shipping carrier.

Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays or circumstances outside our control.

Subscriptions

Recurring subscription orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once payment has been successfully processed and the order has been dispatched.

Customers may manage or cancel future recurring subscription orders before the next billing cycle.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before shipment.

Approved cancellations will incur:

  • A $10.00 AUD administration fee; and
  • Any non-refundable payment gateway or transaction processing fees incurred by The Vitamin Outlet.

These fees help cover transaction processing, administrative handling, and associated operational costs already incurred once an order has been placed.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

High Risk or Fraudulent Orders

Orders identified as high risk, suspicious, or potentially fraudulent by Shopify, our payment gateway providers, or our internal review processes may be cancelled at our discretion for security purposes.

Where applicable, refunds for such orders may be issued less any non-refundable payment processing fees already incurred.
